I am of course open to any other tips on how to fix the issue that don't involve downloading and fumbling through the CK. Now what I most want to know isn't so much how to fix black face bugs, but why they occur in the first place and how can I prevent them from occurring in other mods, and why does a fresh installation of that mod not fix the issue? I don't recall the steps as I kinda got frustrated at that point and just uninstalled the mod. I did a bit more digging and the only thing I can find on how to fix it is to use the Creation Kit (which I have never felt a need to install before) and open the mod and go through all the NPCs it adds and do something. I even deleted the mod and re-downloaded it from Nexus and it still has the black face bug. Yet now every character that is added by Immersive Wenches has a black face. If any mod ever asked to overwrite files from that mod I told it no (NMM confirmation: No to Mod). Then I go and install other mods, ones that don't affect those mods in any way. I never had a problem with it, they worked fine. I installed a mod called Immersive Wenches and two other mods that depend on it, a follower mod and Deadly Wenches which mixes new characters into unnamed NPC levelled lists. It makes no sense to me to be honest how it happens. So I had heard about this bug for awhile and never thought much of it but recently had it finally happen to me.
